St. Augustine Winter Wedding: Mr. and Mrs. Harris

On a cool night in December, Mr. and Mrs. Harris celebrate their marriage with a St. Augustine winter wedding in The White Room’s Grand Ballroom. Their celebration is full of winter magic and holiday cheer, taking place right in the midst of the St. Augustine Night of Lights Festival.

As guests arrive, servers greet them with a variety of hand passed hors d’oeuvres- including pear and almond brie wrapped in phyllo, mini chicken wellingtons, and sesame seared ahi tuna. Friends and family of the bride and groom admire the decorated trees and festive florals that fill the Grand Ballroom. Soon, the guests of honor arrive and share their first dance to “Shameless” by Garth Brooks.

Truly, the ballroom is transformed with holiday spirit for this St. Augustine Winter Wedding. Deep red and emerald florals embellish the centerpieces, sweetheart table, and the wedding cake. A live band fills the room with music throughout the dinner and the reception. Dinner selections include fun action stations like our Taco Station, Shrimp and Grits Martini Station, and a mixed greens salad bar.

After dinner, the party truly starts with plenty of dancing and celebration! The wedding party and guests prove they have enough dance moves to go around, keeping the party going until after 12:00am.
