A Beautiful Summer’s Night Sky for a Vintage Wedding at The White Room’s Loft and Rooftop!

Rooftop Beauty

“The White Room in St. Augustine is one of the top locations for Florida weddings. So when we were hired to capture James and Jennifer’s rooftop wedding we were thrilled. St. Augustine comes with a plethora of natural backdrops. Located at the foot of the “Lions Gate” bridge, the “White Room” holds onto the vintage appeal of old St. Augustine. Hard wood floors, brick walls, and a wrought iron balcony that eloquently over looks “Castillo San Marcos”. James and Jennifer took their “first glance” of one another, on the vine draped walkways of old St. Augustine. We then headed up to the rooftop where the wedding ceremony took place under a strings of lights and a beautiful sky. Jennifer and James set the tone for their reception when they dug into their box of props and came out wearing afro wigs and retro glasses. The room filled with laughter when James and his groomsmen treated everyone to a choreographed dance while sporting super hero underwear and suspenders. It’s always fun for Jason and I, to capture weddings where the bride and groom are willing to have a little fun with their crowd. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your beautiful wedding. Some details from The White Room….

This was truly one of those mesmerizing Summer evenings! The night sky was absolutely perfect under the Italian Globe lighting on The Rooftop. St. Augustine is one of those charming European Cities and what a great backdrop for photos! The new Mr. and Mrs. are a gorgeous pair as well! The bride and groom hosted a fabulous event with a Fresh Market Station, Southern Shrimp and Grits, and a Pork Tenderloin with a Pineapple Rum Reduction….we’ll let the photos speak for the rest 🙂 Congratulations to Jennifer and James!
