The White Room, St. Augustine FL | Villa Blanca and Grand Ballroom Wedding Reception
Congrats to Mr & Mrs Letson!
This beautiful day started out at a local St. Augustine Airbnb, where the bride Michele and her bridesmaids got ready in matching pink robes and fuzzy slippers with champagne in hand. We love seeing bridesmaids’ reactions when seeing the bride for the first time. They all couldn’t stop smiling. Michele looked stunning of course and was very eager to see her groom.
The couple wrote sweet letters to each other to read before tying the knot. Tyler read his letter in the Groom’s Suite located at The White Room. The groom and his groomsmen enjoyed sipped specialty cocktails and had Tea Sandwiches made by our private chefs as they waited for guests to arrive.
Michele relaxed & sipped champagne in our Bridal Suite as her bridesmaids helped her put on her veil. Marble & Pine brought by the beautiful bouquets for the Bride to see! The stunning bouquets featured white, blush and mauve tones with eucalyptus greenery and blush silk ribbon.
The Bridal Suite is also where the bride had her first look with her father!
She brought her dad to tears, not only by her beauty but with a sweet note and gift for him as well.
The Villa Blanca Ceremony
Tyler and Michele said, “I do,” in The Villa Blanca, at The White Room in St. Augustine, Florida. Surrounded by 180+ friends and family, underneath the crystal chandeliers, the Villa was gleaming with beauty. The Villa Blanca was lined with rows of Chivari chairs and had a classic floral arch with Marble & Pine Flowers. The natural light coming through the windows was a photographers dream. Duo played a beautiful melody as the wedding party proceeded down the aisle.
Surrounded by their loved ones, Michele & Tyler couldn’t help but shed a few happy tears!
Once the ceremony ended, the photographers snuck the wedding party away into Downtown, St. Augustine for the best photo opportunities. The historic cobblestone streets and the Bayfront view are amazing backdrops. Allie & Joey truly captured the love and each moment of this wedding perfectly.
The Grand Ballroom Reception
After the ceremony, a fun-filled cocktail reception kicked off in The Grand Ballroom. Guests were greeted with speciality wine upon arrival while they enjoyed the Bridge of Lions and historic St. Augustine Bayfront views on the ballroom balcony. The cigar bar was also a big hit among guests.
Hors d’oeuvres were butler passed during cocktail hour which included mini vegetable spring rolls, mushrooms stuffed with imported & domestic cheeses along with tomato & mozzarella bruschetta with basil and olive oil served on crostini.
The lite bites didn’t stop there, guests enjoyed petite blue crab cakes topped with a caper remoulade, shrimp wrapped in bacon, and sesame seared ahi tuna topped with a soy reduction. We’ll take one of each, please!
The ballroom space was transformed into a romantic, whimsical setting for the reception. Beautiful round floral arrangements with pops of blush were placed in the center of each table, while the long head table was covered in a garland of greenery, candle votives and gold chargers.
Mr & Mrs Letson were introduced to their guests in the Grand Ballroom and transitioned into their first dance. “How Long Will I Love You” by Ellie Goulding played as Tyler twirled his bride underneath the crystal chandelier.
Guests sat down to plated dinner beginning with mixed green salad topped with cucumbers, tomatoes, and carrots served with a balsamic vinaigrette. The main course was a plated duet entree – Pepper seared beef tenderloin crusted with a peppercorn melange, topped with a mushroom demi-glaze. Served alongside the Local Fresh Catch dusted in herbs and pan sautéed & finished with a champagne caper butter sauce. Garlic herb whipped potatoes & oven roasted seasonal vegetables.
Before the dance floor opened for all, Michele and her father shared a special moment during their father daughter dance.
