St. Augustine Rooftop Wedding and Grand Ballroom Reception
Mr. & Mrs. Hallback
On a picture-perfect Sunday in March, friends and family dressed in all white and gathered on the White Room Rooftop at 4:30pm. With mid-seventies temperatures and clear blue skies, the scene was set to celebrate Ryann and Robert’s love for one another with a St. Augustine Rooftop Wedding.
We are still obsessing over the beautifully unique details featured throughout the rooftop wedding and Grand Ballroom reception.
Tiffani Jones Photography did an amazing job documenting the evening, starting with stunning portraits of Bride Ryann in our Bridal Suite. Ryann’s romantic and flowing dress was complimented with a delicate headband and a lush botanical bouquet. Meanwhile, Groom Robert and his groomsmen waited in our Grooms Suite, enjoying their time over drinks and good company before the ceremony.
As the St. Augustine rooftop ceremony neared, Robert and Ryann shared first looks in the tropical Villa Blanca courtyard. We love the emotion captured in these precious moments!
St. Augustine Rooftop Wedding Ceremony
For the St. Augustine Rooftop Ceremony, guest arrival featured plenty of photo ops, with a cloudless sky and incredible views of the Bridge of Lions and the historic district. The couple chose decor complementary to the waterfront views. Tropical elements filled the venue, with palms lining the aisle and accenting the wooden altar. Under a perfect blue sky, guests began to take their seats in anticipation for the wedding party’s arrival.
All heads turned when Ryann walked down the aisle to join Robert at the altar. The groom and his groomsmen sported unique feather boutonnieres, while the bridesmaids matched their bride in white floor-length gowns. The beautiful ceremony featured many touching moments, including heartfelt personalized vows shared by the Bride and Groom. With the historic bay front as a backdrop, Mr. and Mrs. Hallback said their “I Do’s” and started their life as husband and wife.
St. Augustine Rooftop Wedding Cocktail Hour
After the St. Augustine Rooftop Wedding, the ceremony chairs were quickly cleared to kick off Cocktail Hour in the Loft and Rooftop. Guests enjoyed butler-passed hors d’oeuvres including plum-glazed island shrimp skewers; pear, almond and brie wrapped in phyllo; and sauteéd chicken, goat cheese, and sun dried tomato in a phyllo cup. On the rooftop, a cigar bar offered hand-rolled cigars to guests as well.
While cocktail hour was in full swing, the Bride and Groom took to the historic district of St. Augustine for charming portraits. With cobblestone streets and pastel architecture, the Hallback’s photos perfectly captured the essence of our historical town!
St. Augustine Wedding Dinner in the Grand Ballroom
After cocktail hour in the Loft and Rooftop, guests transitioned to the Grand Ballroom for the introductions and dinner. Elements of the ceremony carried over, with botanical touches of palms in the centerpieces with classic gold accents.
The Bride and Groom joined the party with an fun-filled introduction, followed by a sweet first dance as Mr. and Mrs. under the Grand Ballroom’s sparkling chandelier. After the first dance, Ryann’s father joined her on the dance floor for a Father-Daughter dance.
Once dinner and traditional dances were complete, the party continued up on the rooftop to dance the night away (featuring some very impressive group dances!) Sweet treats included butler-passed donuts and ice cream sandwiches with sprinkles for the guests!
We could not be happier for Mr. and Mrs. Hallback! We were so thrilled to host such a beautiful night. The one-of-a-kind details, genuine sweetness, and wonderful enthusiasm truly made it a night to remember!
