St Augustine Wedding Venue – The White Room – A Villa Blanca Ceremony and Grand Ballroom Reception
Hillary and Derek were so much fun to get to know and work with from the very beginning. The picture perfect pair were absolutely stunning in his navy blue tuxedo and her timeless wedding gown. The couple had their ceremony in the Villa Blanca and partied the night away in The White Room’s Grand Ballroom. When we received the images from Stephanie W Photography, we fell in love! The bride is stunning and her sparkler exit is one of the best we have ever seen! St. Augustine is such a beautiful town and backdrop for photos. Below are photos that captured the details of their beautiful day from the bridesmaids getting ready in a private beach house to the most glamorous sparkler exit we have seen to date. The bride sent us a few words so we quoted her below:)
“The White Room has everything down to a science! Shannon our coordinator was a women on a mission! She never skipped a beat. From the moment I had my first walk through of The White Room, everything fell into place. Derek and I are not from St. Augustine, but that did not have an effect at all. The entire staff at The White Room answered any and all my questions, and never had me waiting!”
During this whole entire year building up to our wedding day, I was told daily by almost everyone to prepare for something to go wrong. Family and friends would say “Hillary don’t expect everything to go perfectly because something is going to go wrong!” I never wanted to be the bride to brag about how “perfect” her wedding day was. But guess what, IT WAS PERFECT!
“I also chose our DJ, Photographer and Florist from the vendor list The White Room provided- never once were we disappointed! The dance floor was packed all night, the photos turned more than amazing, and our flower arrangements were absolutely gorgeous. Our ceremony in the Villa Blanca Room was intimate and romantic, following a great dinner in the Ballroom, it was everything we expected.”
One thing I will remember, after Derek and I did our introduction, and had our first dance, we sat down to eat, Shannon our coordinator walked up to us and I asked her “Okay, what do I need to do now?!” Shannon replied, “You need to sit down enjoy your cocktail and dinner, I will let you know your next move”. I just smiled with such relief, it was time to relax and enjoy our night.
